Abstract Background LV volumes and LVEF measured by 3DE are more accurate repeatable than those calculated with 2DE. However, the added prognostic value of EF remains to be clarified. Objectives To analyze if left ventricular (LV) ejection fraction (EF) three-dimensional echocardiography (3DE) have an incremental over measurements obtained from two-dimensional (2DE) in patients referred a high-volume laboratory.
